What do our programs offer?
In GAIA International Spanish Center we care about offering integral programs that guarantee our participants to obtain the maximum benefit and learning during their stay in Venezuela, while they share and enjoy in a country with a rich culture. For this reason our programs include:
*Basic Spanish Course, 6 weeks long, at the Berlitz Language Center. Students will be placed in intermediate or advanced levels, according to their Spanish proficiency. Small groups (maximum 6 students) ensure a personalized and plenty of individual attention from teachers.
* Airport pick up and drop-off service upon arrival and departure.
* Arrival guidance meeting.
* Departure guidace meeting.
* Residential housing in private rooms in Venezuela host families.
* Two daily meals: breakfast and dinner, in the host family home.
* Permanent support and guidance from our staff.
* Medical Insurance.
* Dance lessons: Salsa, Merengue, Calypso and Tambores.
* Guidance Tours and Social Activities, to places of interest such as: Contemporary Museum of Art, Avila National Park, Science Museum, "Teresa Cerreño" Theatre, "El Hatillo" (Typical) Town), "La Colonia Tovar" (German Town), Caracas Historical Downtown, "Parque del Este", etc.
* Excursions to tourist attractions and beautiful beaches around the country, such as: "La Gran Sabana" National Park, "Canaima" National Park, Margarita Island, "Los Roques" Island, "Choroni" and Mérida City. (All these excursions are optional and the cost is not included on the program).
Our Courses
Our Spanish courses are from the prestigious "Berlitz" Language Center, Located in Caracas in at "Parque Crista" building in "Los Palos Grandes" neighborhood, one of the most beautiful and safest areas of the city.
The "Berlitz" teaching method is based mainly on conversation and oral participation. The student will learn to read and write after learning how to speak the new language . It means that the process will be similar to the learning of the mother tongue.

Class sessions are completely dynamic and participative, Therefore the student can immediately practice what has recently learned and will start to think in Spanish.
There are different teachers during the course, allowing student to experience and listen various accents and pronunciations.
We offer four levels of instruction. Each level in 6 weeks long. Students will attend 20 weekly lessons, consisting of 4 academic hours per day (40 minutes each hour).
According to the level, the student will attain the following knowledge:
* Level I: the student can easily deal with personal and professional subjects, with basic grammar and vocabulary.
* Level II: the student can participate in most of daily personal and professional situations as well as other difficult situationd/converstions.
* Level III: the student can relate well in most of personal, academic and professional situations.
* Level IV: the student can participate in any situation with a great mastery of the language, similar to any Spanish speaking person.
Any of the Spanish level obtained by the participant will be enlarged and strengthened by living the experience in a Spanish speaking country, and having the opportunity of doing cultural, social and tourist activities, that are included in the program.
Each participant will obtain the didactic material: book and CD, they will also have, computing and video sessions. All of this will contribute to facilitate all the valuable skills required in the learning of a language, such as: pronunciation, listening, writing and grammar.
